Why encouraging deep roots? My greatest desire has to always been to encourage others to put deep roots down into the truth of God's word because it's in His word we find encouragement, hope and a guide for our lives.
Psalm 1:3 tells us the following about the one who follows the Lord's leading. He is like a tree planted beside streams of water that bears its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.
John 15:1-4 says, “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vineyard keeper. Every branch in Me that does not produce fruit He removes, and He prunes every branch that produces fruit so that it will produce more fruit. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in Me, and I in you. Just as a branch is unable to produce fruit by itself unless it remains on the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in Me."
We can't grow without a proper root system. I try to write with transparency and encouragement. As I write, I share from my heart while encouraging today's woman to go above the mediocre Christian life and go deeper in their relationship with the Lord.
I have written five books so far- 4 women's devotionals and a Bible study on the Epistle of James. You can find my books by clicking on the link above.
